In April of 2020, I lost my full-time job at Enterprise Car Sales as a result of Covid-19.  This loss triggered a life-changing journey toward finding my true purpose. While on that journey I made the decision to return to school to get my esthetician’s license in order to combine it with my passion for makeup artistry, and became a full-time beauty professional. This had been one of my biggest dreams since breaking into the beauty industry, which hadn't seemed fully obtainable until this moment. Despite facing many trials, I completed the esthetics program at Douglas J. Aveda. Soon after l created a studio space out of my bedroom to begin taking clients. The services I started off offering included makeup, brow waxing & tinting, body waxing, and skin care services. 

I gained a lot of attention on Instagram & TikTok from posting videos of my services which have accumulated over 1 million views!  In a short year, I was able to build a steady clientele, allowing me to surpass my previous work income. To this date, I have serviced over 500 different clients (all while still in my basement bedroom studio).  Throughout this journey of building my own business from the ground up, there were so many trials I faced along the way. I began to collect information, in hopes of sharing it with other up-and-coming beauty professionals to keep them from making some of the mistakes I made. I hope to show the endless possibilities of growth opportunity in this industry.
